DOT Services is a construction company based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, working across Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and the wider Midlands. We’ve been trading since 2021 and have completed hundreds of projects for homeowners and businesses in that time.
Extensions, loft conversions and structural work are what we’re best known for — but as a full construction company we cover garage conversions, patios, gardens and commercial fit-outs too. Every project runs on a fixed-price quote, with structural calculations and Building Control sign-off handled as standard rather than billed as extras.

The things people ask us most before they book a visit.
Do you charge for quotes or site visits?
No. Site visits and written quotes are completely free and carry no obligation. We’d rather you had an accurate figure to make a decision with than a rough guess over the phone.
Will I need planning permission?
Often not. Most single-storey rear extensions and loft conversions fall under Permitted Development, provided they stay within the size limits. Conservation areas, listed buildings and larger builds usually do need full planning — we check this properly at the quote stage and handle the application if one’s needed.
Are your quotes fixed, or can the price change?
We scope the job properly before we start, so the number we quote is the number you pay — barring changes you ask for along the way. Structural calculations and Building Control sign-off are included as standard, not billed as extras later.
Can I stay in the house while you work?
In most cases, yes. We section off the work area and manage access carefully to keep disruption down. Loft conversions in particular are usually accessed from outside via scaffolding until the staircase goes in.
Do you take on commercial work as well as domestic?
Yes. Alongside our residential work, we handle fit-outs and extensions for retail, office, hospitality and industrial premises — including out-of-hours and phased delivery so you don’t lose trading days.
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based in Uttoxeter and work across the towns around it — Cheadle, Rugeley, Burton, Ashbourne, Stone and the villages in between — as well as Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Stoke. See all the areas we cover. If you’re not sure whether you’re in range, just ask.
